Our Story
Craig Collingwood saw a problem with housing in New Zealand. Having worked in construction for years, he noticed more and more Kiwis struggling to find quality homes they could actually afford.
The idea for Luxury Cabin came about during a conversation about housing prices. Looking at NZ tiny homes for sale online, Craig saw a clear gap in the market. Most were well built, but overpriced, or affordable, but poorly constructed. Nobody seemed to offer that sweet spot of excellent quality at good prices.
Based in Tauranga, Craig put together a team with the right skills and mindset to create NZ transportable cabins that look better, function better, and cost way less than what was already out there. Our fresh approach has already gained attention. Without the baggage of "industry standards" or "traditional methods", we've been able to rethink what affordable tiny homes can be.
